1. When is the best time to elope in Mission Beach?
For the most reliable blue skies and lower humidity, May through October is our "Golden Window." However, if you love the lush, dramatic greens of the rainforest and don’t mind a tropical afternoon shower, the summer months (November–April) are stunning—provided you have a solid "Plan B" (which I build for you!).
2. Should we worry about "Stinger Season"?
Marine stinger season in FNQ typically runs from November to May. While this doesn’t stop a beautiful beach ceremony, it does mean we need to be smart about location and post-ceremony swims. As your local expert, I guide you to the safest spots and ensure your timeline accounts for the best coastal conditions.
3. How many guests can we bring?
To keep things intimate and allow us access to our most "secret" hidden groves and private beach corners, The Easy Escape is designed for up to 15 guests. If you are dreaming of a larger "Micro-Wedding," let me know in your inquiry and we can chat about custom logistics.
4. Why do we pay other vendors (Celebrant, Florist, etc.) directly?
Transparency is everything. By paying your vendors directly, you hold the contract and consumer protection with them. My $1,500 Easy Escape fee covers my professional time, local scouting, and logistical coordination. I provide the vetted links; you just click and pay—simple and secure.
5. Do we need a permit for a beach ceremony?
Yes, most public beaches and National Parks in Mission Beach require a council permit. Don't worry about the paperwork—I handle the coordination and permit applications as part of your planning service so you don't have to navigate local government websites from afar.
6. How to book?
The Consultation: We’ll jump on a quick phone call to make sure we’re a perfect match for your vision.
The Planning Deposit: A $600 non-refundable deposit (50% of the Easy Escape fee) secures your date and kicks off my scouting and vendor research.
The Photo Deposit: A $300 deposit locks in your date for photography.
The Vendors: You pay your chosen vendors (Celebrant, Florist, etc.) directly using the booking links I provide, ensuring you have direct contracts and protection.
Final Balance: Your remaining balance is due 30 days before you fly into the tropics!
